Root canal procedures are performed when the nerve of the tooth becomes infected or the pulp becomes damaged, thus causing the patient a lot of pain. During the dental root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed, so as to limit the damage.

A denture is an artificial set of teeth that replace missing teeth. This set of artificial teeth can be removed by the patient when he please. Eg., At the time of going to bed.

7) Fillings
Some what similar to the bonding process the dental filling process makes use of a restorative material to help the teeth regain its function, strength, integrity and morphology. The filling is used wherever the teeth has lost its natural structure due to cavity, decay, etc.
8) Implants
A dental implant is a tooth root (artificial in nature) that is placed into the patient's upper or lower jaw to hold a new replacement tooth or bridge.
